Tule Canyon, September 16, Santa Clarita

Actually, it's called the "Tule Ridge Trail" and it's a 14.5 mile trail located in Santa Clarita. For those of you who have the "Backcountry Adventures/Southern California" book, this is "South Coast #3", on page 301. They have it rated as a "2", on a scale from 1 to 5, 1 being easiest. They have the drive time listed as approximately 1 hour, though I believe there are some trail offshoots for those who desire more of a ride. This will be my first time out there, so i don't know for sure.

I'm thinking of a start time, at the trail, of 9am.

A couple of hours in the dirt, followed possibly by some lunch and then the ride home is what I had in mind.

I'll post a map of the exact location in the next few days.

Hope to see you there!

(I promise to take my Ginka Baloba ((so I remember where to go)) and my Red Bull ((to keep the enery level up)).

Glad to see the interest.

Everyone is welcome. Let's all do our weather dances and make sure it cools down!

Two weeks from tomorrow.

Meeting Place

Alright. Supposedly, at this intersection, there's a 7-Eleven that sells gas, so we can gas up our bikes and our stomachs before the ride. The address is:

27602 Newhall Ranch Rd, Valencia, CA
Telephone #: (661) 257-0078

Let's meet here at 8:15am with the plan being to leave at 8:30.

Here's a link to the map:
