Monday Sept 3 ride?

Anyone wanna ride on monday?

Thinking of heading out for the highcountry early monday morning.

Update: This is now a smaller bike, advanced riders only ride.

I'll be on the XR650R

Proposed route:

Meet at the Morrison & C-470 gas station @ 0630

285 S to Bailey

Breakfast in Bailey @ the Cutthroat Cafe
(should be there at 0730 ish)

Red Cone
Webster Pass
Montezuma
Deer Creek
Georgia Pass
etc...

I'm interested on the KLR. Would want to go hit Radical Hill, at least as a side trip.

I'll try to swing it. Would be fun to put in a full day's ride with you guys. A KLR contingent would be good.

I was going to post a link to that guys post too, but I don't care whos ride I go on. I just rode Webster, Haggerman, and Mosquito yesterday. I wouldn't mind doing Red Cone again.

must have missed you I rode deer creek, radical hill and back down webster to montezuma yesterday.....

May be going from Montezuma to Webster on either Monday or Tuesday with wifey on board our DR650 (yellow). Will be on the lookout for some wild and crazy guys slinging rocks from their knobbies. Tell me again what you ride? Will be our last trip in Colorado for the summer before heading back to purgatory (better known as Florida).

I went over Webster about 3:00. The weather was a little sketchy, so I went pretty fast. I wanted to do Redcone, but the weather kinda scared me.

I plan on taking the 950 so I'll most likely bypass Red Cone & Radical Hill.
The pace wll be fast though!

to ask would love to meet a few new riders but what milage is this ride as i have only about a 100 miles with the hp2 and have not found a great way to carry fuel with out the jesses

Hey Dan,

Looks like I'm in. Scotty is interested but doesn't want to trailer his bike. So is there a head count. He doesn't want to slow the ride down on the highway..
