Colockum-Beehive: Wenatchee loop
Did a nice loop today. Wenatchee to Ellensburg and back. Wenatchee to Ellensburg via Colockum Pass with a variation on the beginning to get past some of the rough stuff on Colockum Pass. Then back via Liberty-Beehive Road. About 100 miles total with probably 60 or 70 of the miles on dirt.
Saw some wild turkeys in the Colockum and some elk on the Liberty- Beehive side. GPX file is attached. |

Maybe we should start a thread - who out there is from Wenatchee? I count 3 so far on this site, plus 2 other riders I already hang with.

It would be very interesting to see who is on here from Wenatchee. I think a Wenatchee thread would be kjool.
I did the Blewitt-Beehive ride in late August on my new GS. Dumped it on the hairpins coming down from the top of Devil's Gulch . The dust was like ice and I was riding with the Tourances that came with the bike. I'm going to put some knobbies on it in the spring. Other than that, it is a great ride = a lot rougher than the last time I drove it. |

Hey,
Another Wenatchee guy here. Have tried part of that loop. Was too early in teh season and ran into snow and some downed trees. I was trying to go across from Beehive over to Liberty. Have wanted to try it again. Just need to get the KLR put back together. North |

Have done that loop twice this year, more than happy to do it again.
Give me a yell when you get your bike put back together. |

Wenatchee to Liberty via FS-9712
Yesterday North6633 & I took a ride over FS-9712 from Wenatchee to Liberty. I have attached the GPS track which mimics Manfish's track, then splits off at Table Mnt and heads into Liberty. Also a few pictures from the trip.
