I almost went the custom triple clamp/50 mm forks way (SOLO LOBO, has a pair). The main reason that I didn't was, I want to build a HPN type BMW. I have a R 100 GS, that is in VERY good condition. I want to improve the GS that I have. With out dumping a ton of money into my present GS. Stock fork mod's and a improved top clamp like yours, would be a cheaper way to go. I don't want/need to ride my GS aggressively, that's what I have my XRR for...

Here she is...

For severial reasons, I want to keep my stock GS...stock. It's in too good of shape, to tear apart and mod.

Then, build up a specific HPN (or my version of) motorcycle.

Therefore, I didn't feel that it was good money spent...to buy custom triples...for a bike I haven't even started to build yet.

My brain hurts .

ooooohhhhhh. OK. I thought you were saying you want to keep your bike stock AND build it into an HPN style beast. That confused me.

My fault, not yours. My 7 & 2 year old boys...were driving me insane today.
