Got that wrong - YSS make catridge emulators for the forks - they are on the Munich site for $A170-.

Thanks for the clarification, I was wondering what the deal was... back to the drawing board!

YSS Emulators

Has anyone here tried these yet? I spoke to the guy at EPM about them several months ago and he said that they would work in a R100GS fork. Just wondering if anyone can think of a reason to go with a YSS emulator over one from Race Tech? I do beleive you can buy a single YSS as opposed to having to buy a pair....

Try a search on the whole site, not just this forum - or perhaps google- there is something out there.

Doesn't appear so. Who's gonna volunteer? Do we make a list of interested parties to give HPN a number?

Yes, it's easy to put the 100GS fork, but I xant to stay with the genuine look, and I've got on mine a twin Brembo disk kit

What a difference.

Just got the suspension done by the locdal suspension guy - gold valves, springs, new steering head bearings. Weighed, inside seam measured, adjusted my tackle - all sweet - copes well with the up-rated brakes.

...ΗΙ...
are there any news on this....???

are the HPN inserts still available....???

From lots of reading, I understood that a diff. (WP) forks would ask for other mods in the rear of the G/S and /or maybe result a crack on the frame too...

I understood that the problem is the bigger travel of those forks as the g/s is only at 200mm.....
isn't there a way to shorten the travel of a WP fork (shorter or cut the springs) to 200 or 210mm in order to get a better front end with the same travel and not crate problems on the G/S 's geometry...???

What do the Gurus say....??

I really like to get a better a front end but get confused with all other mods that might crate other problems I am afraid....

Not presently.

Of course, but that is taking out a LOT of the travel. Might as well use smaller, lighter forks in that case.

Group buy ?

If anyone in contact with HPN wants to set up a group buy for the fork cartridge inserts, I would like to sign up.

I realize we are still waiting to find out when they will sell the inserts again.

I think we would need an undertaking from HPN or a supplier that these kits can obtained and a time frame. If these kits are produced from scratch a manufacturer would need to make a large number to make it viable. I doubt we would get a list of any more than 10 ?.
