Fantastic ride report! The 2 wheel relationship perfectly captured with your words.

Yep, same thing I did.

Vermin, it was an awesome report. Thanks. The Pirsig parallels promoted a pleasing poignancy.

What I liked best....

Is the simple fact that you don't need to spend 20 grand on an adventure bike to have a hoot! All you really need can be held on by bungie cords. Chrome won't get you home! Ride what ya got! Great yarn!

Truly astounding report. Loved it.

And so.........

How did Drifter like the whole experience?

Also....you "need" more vacation time. Find it, make it, take it!

It would be interesting to meet Drifter in 10 or 20 years and see where he's at and how he remembers all this.
Thanks a lot for this.

Drifter ticklers the keyboards

Drifter is in his basement lair and I can hear feverish typing.

Great report ... I laughed so hard i cried ....

Whoever said "FLEE the cubical and write books" is right

I normally browse the RRs and flip through pics reading bits and pieces ...

I read yours start to finish and the wife asked me numerous times ... what are you reading as I would laugh non-stop!

Thanks for sharing your journey with your son .... a truely epic tail !!!

Oh man.....I can't WAIT for this.

Drifter, may you be blessed with your father's sense of irony, gift for word choice and biting sarcasm. Bring it on!
