PNWet Fest 2008 (9/5-6)

As we left Vista Park yesterday Steve the park manager came over and shook my hand. Telling me that we had a fine group of people at the
Wet Fest 07 and we were welcome back anytime.

But he said we should reserve early for next year.

I called him today and reserved the park for next year.

Those of you who now know the place. We have all the river sites. We have the Pagota. We have reserved all the Yurts and we have reserved 5 RV sites.

I am posting this now. But I have not recieved the final confirmation yet.
I will call him next week on that.

I do not want to post this anywhere else yet as I do not want to steal any thunder from this years wonderful event. But I did want to grab the date and spaces as soon as possible.

The yurts are going to go fast so anyone who wants those should call the park soon and reserve them under the Adventure Rider Group and put your name on them.
I will be happy to answer PM's with any questions. I will put this on next years calendar as soon as I recieve final confirmation.

So same as this year next years event will be the weekend after Labor Day

September 5th and 6th 2008 at Vista Park Washington.

Early arrivals will need to call the park. As with this year next year some of us will be arriving thursday night and riding on Friday.

Pacific Northwet Fest had it's humble beginnings with a few riders getting together at Road Rash's moms place. The stories of Momma Road Rash have spread to the far corners of the earth. She is one fine lady.
The boys and girls decided to go ride the object was to do away with raindogs Dirt Cherry. Well raindog couldn't keep the rubber down to dirt a fair part of the day. Talking he said. "Well I guess I got my Dirt Cherry Popped". Then up pipes Road Rash and says Popped hell. You got Gang Banged.
From that the Pacific Northwet Gang Bang was started. Getting together with a small group of riders at Momma Road Rash's Casa. Until it grew to big for the place and went away for a short while.
After discussions with previous attendees a location was chosen and a more inclusive name was also chosen.
You just can't go round wearing a t-shirt with Gang Bang on it now can ya?


The success of PNWet Fest 2007 was in large part because of the informal atmosphere and flavor the original founders enjoyed.
Therefore it has been decided by committee that the original intent will
carry on.

Here's what we know right now.
We have all the river sites (but one) and the entire field reserved.
We have all the Yurts reserved. (PM me about these NOW!) They will go fast.
We have 5 RV spots reserved. Nwgs and Mr Cob have already taken one of these each.
We have the Pagota reserved again.
For those that do not know the Pagota has power, fire pit, large barbys for all of us. Several Tables and is covered.
What a great gathering area.


Would the former attendees mind sharing a few pics with everyone. I will share some as the year progresses. It might show everyone what a great location this place really is.

Holy shit, We have barely scratched the surface of what this place has to offer. I'm not gona get long winded on this.
Whatever you want. This place has it. Views, Beach, Sand, Dirt , Water, and combinations of all.
Maybe some of the previous attendees can share in this thread about that also.

Rides at PNWet Fest 2008 will be in the flavor of the founders. Informal.
