Sucks to hear that. Here's hoping he heals up quick.

I don't have a smart phone either so getting Bruced is always a concern. So far so good on the KLX.

Those that have met him will not be surprised to learn that in true Marine fashion, while his buddy rider went to fetch a truck Bill decided to ride out. Oh, and he's like 62 now. Thankfully others are stepping up to finish lay out for the N.C., as bill will have to slow down for several weeks. Bill doesn't post often on ADV, but he is one hell of a guy, and has been defending motorcyclists rights longer than I have been alive. I'm sure he would appreciate some kind words via pm.
Thoughts and prayers going out to bill

RC how was your trip?

Alex's mini is running again with a new head gasket. Actually runs better than before, which makes me wonder if there was a small leak since we got it. So he's ready to try his first race. Anyone have a suggestion for a pee wee race next weekend?

I used to sit in the front row of that church throughout my early teens while Grandma Anna played the piano. My former father-in-law owned/owns the property across the street and to the south to the next vacated road which was the way to grandma's. It was in that field I realized how fast my '87 Can-Am 250 ASE was. Before I cracked the case, I thought it was a 5 speed, after reassembling a new case set, I tried out that 6th gear and came to realize I never missed it, I didn't want to go that fast in the woods!

there was a time in this game when all the re-posting of pictures would have befuddled the masses. Glad we are past THAT.

Rode right past here on my way home from work yesterday. Didn't stop as I was trying to get home before the storm. I wasn't successful. My bike died from what I assume was water shorting out something in the electrical system. Glad I was only a block from home. Pretty crazy winds and small hail made it an interesting ride.

Yeah, they were pretty fun while they lasted. No hail here though.

I almost grabbed that for a file pic the other day. There was a couple parked there taking some amusing pics with inappropriate positions.
