How do you like the new Strom? Was thinking about trading in my DR for it.

Love it! Comfortable all day machine . Handles great on gravel roads and even some trails.

Don't be sorry, it's all part of the game. We were going to go back and find it being I found the post when we stopped for the above photo which was 542 as you leave Atwood Lake but the temperatures were dropping with the sun so I headed out to visit a friend then home.

MGorman and I will be riding most of the day tomorrow. Mike is plotting a route tonight, he always finds fun stuff. We will be finished by 4.

Can anybody else get away on a Monday? Probably be Massillon as a take off point. Maybe Minerva.

Removed the el cheapo gringo plastic ammo sidecases on the Tiger and replaced them with Hepco Becker KTM 37 liter cases.

Maybe. Wife also has the day off for the federal holiday tomorrow. I'll see if she has anything planned for me.

I'm off Tuesday morning, and headed to Malvern if you want to grab lunch or something.

ThomasVolomitz opion on Tiger

Thomas, you have had the Tiger for a while now, whats the verdict? Good and bad if any, I'm thinking about getting an xc in the spring when we get back from our southern vaction. Won't do gravel roads or the like with the B-King. That's my baby, rode lots of dirt and raced MX over the years. At 64 soon to be 65 I,m not seeing myself getting back into the really hard stuff, but would like to be able to ride off road some and do gravel. Have some good friends in WV who could set me up with some power line right of ways and other stuff about 70 to 90 miles from Minerva.

Sat on one at Harding's the other day, felt and fit real good, and did a little dikkering on price but nothing serious yet, we are running out of time before we leave for SC and won't be back till April, so probably buy then unless I come across a hell of a deal on a used one by then. Dosen't seem that anyone wants to sell theirs so I'm thinking they must be pretty happy with them. You can PM me or what ever when you get the time. Picked on you cause I don't know of anyone else who owns one and Danjal talks highly of you.

Thanks,

Dave

Well I have joined the crowd dealing with back issues.
Got a herniated disc that is causing some severe back pain now.I havn't been able to sit, not even on a bike for about 3 weeks.
It sucks. A couple epidural steroid injections and vicotin have gotten me to where I can sleep about 5hrs at night and the pain is mild during the day if I alternate laying and walking. Doc says the herniated disc usually corrects itself but Im getting frustrated. Im starting to think the surgery option is going to happen :(

So thats why I havnt been on ADV much. When Im standing working on the computer Im busy trying to get work accomplished. Plus its even harder reading about others adventures when you cant even ride. I feel for those of you that have been off the bike at various times.
