With us, it is 2 person, I get Mak and myself in trouble, Turra does the yelling. The peace and tranquility will cease in 2 weeks, she's coming to visit for 2 weeks.

I guess you enjoy having the grandkids around when you get to that point. I'm looking forward to my kids spending a week at my parents house this summer just as much as they are, but for different reasons of course!

It's different with grand kids, for one thing they listen to you and aren't trying to get away with something all the time. The other thing, you're not working anymore and have more time for them. Which makes it a lot easier, and more fun. Just all around better then when you were trying to raise their parents, work, take care of all the things that needed done, and getting some sleep. I worked swing turns for 37 yrs. told myself "this ain't that bad", well after retiring I quickly noticed that it really sucked, and won't do that again. But you do what you have to do to get the job done.

Granddaughter has been going to the gun club since before she could walk, now she's 8 and can do anything that's needed to run a shoot.

She's tall and lanky and on the thin side so we been working with a BB gun and this summer will move on to a .22 single shot Cricket, I bought for her right after she was born. But PaPa has bought her two shotguns in anticapation of the day she will start to shoot trap. She helps me load shells and box them, Dan has taught her to set off fire works, those two can not be left alone, especially at a grocery store, just TOOO much trouble.

I know nothing about whipped cream missing.

She's the most well armed 8 year old I know. Has more firearms than most adults and a big big dog.
