CroMag Campout

Is anyone from the area (NE Ohio and surrounding areas) going to the CroMag Campout in Vermont this September? I'd like to combine that with a ride up to Acadia. Anyone interested?

Dave

Yes he is, right across from a doughnut stand. Look for the Red and Yellow themed games.

Tom has given in to the donut temptation from his neighbor at the fair:

Missed Tom at the fair yesterday, after the rain they worked on the track for the pulls for a good hour. Had it so good they stopped almost everyone at the 260 mark.

I'm back...

...not that you care. Good week of riding and family time. 1,685 miles, no less than 95 of it in the dirt. Found some great ATV trails through the woods that ended up being lots of fun. Rode 5 days, relaxed the other 4. The specs in the picture are accurate except for the fuel cost estimate. It was probably 1/2 that. Anything happening this week?

I try not too... It was time for an oil change so I figured I'd try to learn why people used synthetic at twice the price. Learned that apparently a whole bunch of people have extra money laying around that they don't know what to do w/. Changed a tire and got headshake I didn't have before. I found it bothersome and happen to have used beads for the last few years for no reason in particular other than curiosity. They seem to work. Got more beads. Didn't fix the problem. Turns out it's a regular complaint w/ the DL650 and may be tire related. I may have had some beforehand but not enough that I could feel / see it even w/ my hands on the bars. Just trying to learn and who better to ask then a bunch of guys who have been around the block a few times.

Great pic of your bike on the Farnsy thread. I love the white. They only had black or orange when I got mine so black it was. Enjoy your breakfast!

Thanks, 365!

Next tag, this old truck stands watch over a curve in a three digit state route.

The first digit is representative of the number of rounds held by Dirty Harry's revolver; the last 2 digits are representative of the caliber of said revolver.

Between a town that always makes me crave peanuts, movie popcorn, or pretzels and a town who's name would seem to indicate it is at a high elevation.

I wish I had my SLR with me and not just my cell phone camera because this was just begging to be photographed.
