Fantastic story! I was saying to someone the other day how "photochopping" has ruined too many things because you can no longer believe a photostory where incerdible photo's are used. You have restored my faith in talented photo's and "real" image capture. You have saved the world in a small way from ugly deception by relating an amasing experience and backing it up with amasing pictures. Good on ya!!

Hey guys does ADV Rider actually have a ride report of the year award? If not I'm thinking its time something be started and after reading this report I know where my vote would be cast!

You ain't no pussy, Dude. Sometimes you are just out there on your own.

Fantastic ride report and a great bunch of guys .

And don't take this the wrong way but not what I expected from a bunch of whitey South Africans. Decent blokes all. Re-affirmed my faith in Mankind.

There's some hope for Africa yet..

When this R.R. first came out, I read the first 2 pages and said ok, nice but I dont have time to follow it. then I saw a thread in J.M. about this being the best R.R. ever so it piqued my interest. I did read MetalJockeys Namibia report and since my wife did a college term paper on Namibia it was more than just a great report, it helped put pictures to the wifes paper and stuff she wrote about, and it even got E-wife interested in this site.

THIS is about the best ride report ever, I just spent the last hour reading it.
Metal Jockey's writing is phenominal and MEGA PROPS to him and his crew for this amazing, unbelieveable truly great adventure...
