Wow - Amazing. Excellent pics and ride report. I'm always fascinated by rides through Africa. Thanks so much for sharing, and the great pics.

Not to hijack, but for those who want to read a couple more incredible reports, try these.

This report, the two above, and many others, show that there are truly wonderful people in the world. If we could just keep stupid governments out of our lives, fanatics, and idiots, the majority of us would have an amazingly peaceful existence.

First, I concur that this was a great adventure. Sooooo, when do you guys start the adventure touring company to show some of us armchair riders some of the back areas of Africa?

Here is a takeaway that I am not sure anyone else has noticed or not, but...and I qualify this to say that I am NOT a dentist.....look at all the teeth in the smiling people shots. What the heck, they all look perfect! Unbelievable.... Diet? Genetics? WOW...

I was in Nigeria for a bit and was frowned upon for eating sweets by the people there They are really concerned about proper diet ( no sweets ) for their teeth. Very few of them on our drilling rig would touch sweets. I heard " Don't you love your teeth" when walking about with a candy bar every once in awhile/

Amigos--The word Angola in your title caught my eye enough times to finally sit down and read your entire thread. Holy fuck! In Mexico we'd describe you guys as having cajones grandes. What can I say? Killer content--phenomenal photos, suspenseful, trailblazing, great story telling and most important, the team spirit. This needs to be published.
