Dell'Orto Carb Help - on my new trials bike
I bought a used Scorpa 250F over the internet. The bike sat for quite a while before I bought b/c the previous owner moved overseas.
Here's the deal:
It will start and run with the choke pulled. Release the choke and it will die. The choke trigger lever (just like on some KTMs) acts like the throttle. More choke = higher RPMs. If I touch the throttle, the engine will die.
I took the carb apart apart and found it was all gummed up (no surprize there). However, after cleaning it (at least I think it's clean), it runs the same - no improvement.
I have no prior experience with Dell'Orto carbs.
Where should the air screw and pilot screws be set?
I tried calling Ryan Young for help, but they are closed on the weekends.

Minimum oil in the gas (I ran my GASGAS at 100:1) and maybe try some carb cleaner mixed in.
Spray the hell out of the disassembled carb with a good carb cleaner.
Compressed air after spraying, then spray it again.
Not necessarily in that order...
