Chanderjeet Explores the U.S.A.

Hey all,

First of all, I want to thank everyone who participates and supported the idea posted by SV in "PR for international relationship" thread. For those who are reading about this for the first time, well all i can say is before you start reading on i just want to say "Its not just the ride, but people who matter the most".

Never in my life i could have thought that something like this happen but today i can swear to god that everything is possible. What this community has done for me cannot be put into words. Its all because of you guys that i have been to come all the way from India to USA to ride through this wonderful country for a whole month. The day has so far been amazing, I cant describe the excitement i have for the whole trip and all the guys that have come to meet me at NWGS's place have been awesome.

I am starting this thread to keep the ride report and the planning thread different.

Delhi to Seattle:

Starting off from Delhi Airport.

ADV Stickers. Right on.

I was trying to call home when Jettech01 approcahed and pointed towards his ADV T-shirt.
We spoke for about an hour at the Houston Airport. Really nice guy.

Me, NWGS (driving), Fat Toney (who isnt Fat al all)

Apart from the Suzuki V-Strom 650 i have been able to ride....

1. URAL - Mr. Cob
2. DRZ400 - Mr. Cob
3. BMW 1150GS - NWGS
4. KTM 950 Adventure - Johnny drunkard.
5. Cagiva 900 - Godspeed
6. Yours ????

CJ's frist ride inthe USA will be on a Ural.........................

Mr Cob Posting:

Howdy All,

Just in cast any of you FF's want to join CJ as he drives the Ural, we will be meeting at the Chevron gas station located about one block EAST of the junction of Jordan Rd. and Hwy 92. This station is located on the right hand side of Stanley St. just after you enter the huge megatrapolis of Granite Falls. The GPS coordinates are,

N48 04.987
W121 58.383

We will meet at the gas station at 11:AM, fill up and LEAVE. If you want to eat breakfast come EARLY. We will be riding up the Mountain Loop Hwy for a few miles then turn off the Hwy. and ride UP Green Mountain, weather permitting we will reach around 4,000 feet of elevation. This is a good logging road, any bike with decent tires will be able to do this ride. It has been raining, the gravel will be wet and there may be some mud in a few places. Great views if the weather permits. The ride from the gas station, up the mountain and back down will take anywhere from two to three hours depending on how much fun we have or how soon we want to get out of the rain. All are welcome, join us and lets give CJ a great first ride and a wonderful send off.
