Hi guys --- one more checking in. Have been down in Croatia since early March. No bikes with me initially but I am currently hauling my street-fightered gixer down through Germany. Have stopped off near Frankfurt for a spot of R&R but will probably arrive back at my apartment in Istria on Mon or Tues - 26th/27th May.

Have left my XJR 1300 for sale in the UK. Will probably find something more suited to the dirt available round here but I have been known to stick a set of Pirelli Syncs on a road bike and just get on with it.

I missed Umag as I slipped off to the UK on 5th May but I note there's a big bike scene in Croatia and I'm pretty sure I will bump into some of you along the line

I went to the NS Riders moto fest in Novi Sad this past weekend, had a good time visiting friends in Nis, and of course at the party. I swear, serbia has some of the hottest women on the planet!

I came back to BG thru Romania. I hadnt ridden along the Duna before, that was nice! of course the road in RO was under construction & total crap, but what the hell, I was on the TDM, only broke a muffler bracket.
I hope to visit Croatia & Bosnia later this summer, I havent seen much of BiH yet.

Doug, Great to see you in HSV. Wish we could have talked a bit more. I'm still exploring my registration options here. Let me know if you have any further info.

Once legal, I hope to make a weekend run in your direction.

Hi Phillip,
yeah, that was weird, running into you at the airport. I didnt fly that day, the next day I got to cincinnati, then paris. was stuck there for a nite, then on to BG. My bags got here a week later. I wont fly standby again.
The container of bikes that Im shipping here is delayed, and I may have to fly home next week to fix it. If so, I can get you some sort of AL paperwork for your bike, Ive done it for several bikes I ride in europe, never a problem.
If not, I'll figure out something from here. As they cant check the validity of the bama papers, I can pull some sort of shenanigans
