This has nothing to do with familiarity with the terrain and traffic. You know it and everyone else knows it too.

Regardless of the remoteness of the road and the scarcity of traffic, taking blind left turns on the inside is nothing more than a form of Russian Roulette and taking blind right handers inside a riding companion is forcing them to play the same game against their will. Most of the time you "win", but sooner or later you or your riding companion will lose, big time. To expose others to this risk without their consent is unconscionable. Doesn't sound like cRasH has anything to apologize about.

Although I would expect that cRasH probably said the above (and more) to you, your half baked public apology doesn't even acknowledge the intrinsic recklessness of your actions, passing them off to your superior knowledge of local conditions. Unless you are clairvoyant or have x-ray vision, it seems to me that you really need to be examining your entire riding philosophy.

Sorry to be so preachy and self-righteous, but we are talking life and death here.
