Anyone up for Round 2? (2nd annual 950 Tech/Farkle Day)

-OCT 24/24/26th Starting Fri night 4pm.

I'd say 990 too, but I've never worked on one. Way to fancy w/ all those electronics.

It worked out pretty well last year, and I think it was informational for all.

(Tent space available w/ a nice view or Hotel in town)

I may have to limit the amount of attendees, but we'll see when the time gets closer. (I'm thinking 15-20 max)

What worked out well last year was knowing ahead of time what bike needed to be worked on and what was being done, Having the right tools on hand saved us a lot of running around.

If you'd like to attend this year, post here and what you'd like to work on.

Last year we did a little of everything, and with a small group just about everyone got there bike worked on. If the group is larger some may have to be helpers. I only have so much garage space and tools.

I've got a huge list of "if's" to get through before I can know for sure, but I'm probably going to need to do a valve check in October. Count me in!

I was gonna go but somhow the radar image won me over and I did some work around the house. Didn't rain too much around here, and it seems from the photos you all got your share of rain... Getting too old to ride around in the rain for no reason.

Grip glue rocks if you wanna feel sick for a few hours! Never gonna use that stuff near my face again.

Today a great day and I had to fix a computer at a friend's office - Slimy Crud was probably a huge turnout. At least I get to ride to work a few times a week these days, which usually turns out to be a 100 mile loop around the hills west of Madison before I get home

PS - XR is probably sold - gonna confirm in a few days, but she is probably moving to South Carolina...

Come on Peter...even the Harley's were out in force yesterday!!

I think I test rode just the thing for you at Petrie's in Elkhorn....

Thinking about getting one for the wife!!!

They are a KTM dealer and would probally give you a good trade in for the 950!!

cjracer,
Have you ever thought about buying a summer home in Santa Fe, NM. I'd love to have you as a neighbour. Anyway, anytime you are in this part of the country, don't hesitate to contact me for some hospitality.

Hi Jaome,

That's very kind of you.

Summers are fine in Wisconsin, it's the winters I don't mind heading south for. Any vacancy in the winter?

I've had a few people interested in valve checks.

-For those that would like to do this, you need to plan to stay over and start work on your bike Fri night. This way we will have have enough time on Sat to finish up, and Sun too if things take longer than planned.
