My Versys hauled me from Roanoke, VA to my family home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL yesterday. 18 hours in the rain. Ran like a top, didn't skip a lick! 50 mpg and a toasted stock rear tire. I'm reading 4200 miles since September, anybody else? WC

I'm coming up on a month of ownership. I haven't even been tempted to take it off road yet.

Not mine, but borrowed from another site somewhere in BC. I have the trunk, but have not found the hard side bags yet.

2Xadv, where did you get the hard side bags and brackets? I seem to not be able to find them. Thanks and good pics! Do you have the low gel seat?

Great pictures everyone, the Versys looks good with the factory (i.e. Givi) sidecases. I'm spoiled, cruiser riding has gotten me to the point that I don't think I could do without hard, locking bags.

hunting1, I'm pretty sure Kawasaki has the bags and hardware available on their website under Accessories.

Now, if I could just get one of you bastids to let me take your bike for spin, I might be able to decide to get one for myself....

Kawasaki has them listed, but no luck getting them at R&S. If you are in Albuquerque you can take mine for a cruise!

Well, Albequerque is only about 1500 miles from Columbus, and the weather is perfect for riding (36, light sleet, mostly cloudy). It looks like Springfield, Missouri woud be a good halfway point to meet, you busy tomorrow??

I grew up north of you in Medina, so returning to cold, grey skies of Ohio, naaa! Will meet in Phoenix better. I like Missouri though! In Albuquerque it gets cold, but you can ride almost all year!
