We are heading out to the Fossil Creek trailhead east of Murphy. We are planning on eating breakfast at 9:00 here:

Bucks Saloon & Steakhouse
217 Broadway Avenue, Melba, ID 83641

EDIT: NO GO, they aren't open today.

I'll call them in the morning and find out.
If they aren't open we will probably meet out at Fossil Creek at 10:00 and be riding by 10:30.

Edit: Hey quit typing the same time I am.

Way to go Boise riders, the sun is shining the trails are dry and the boise thread made it all the way back to the third page. I guess I am going to have to figure out how to post my own pics since your not providing me with anything to read about.

Not much action in the thread lately...

My time as a unemployed individual is coming to an end next month and I'd like to get in a ride or three before employment strikes.

I'm riding Tuesday the 17th for sure but am available to ride most any time as long as it's dirt only, my street legal bike is in boxes and buckets in the garage.

Thanks,

Owyhee

Went on a quick ride to the Wickahoney Stage Stop on Friday. The weather in Boise was smoggy and cold, the weather in Grasmere was about 45 and sunny. Perfect weather.

Tory (KLR650) and I took off around 10:30 from the truck and spent about three hours out in the desert. At one point I got us lost and we had to follow a fenceline across the middle of the desert to get back to the highway. Good times.

(I know this is a popular ADV spot and it's been covered quite a few times but I figured I'd add my pictures too)

Stage Stop, front view

Interior view

Front door

Back room (addition at some point)

More of the back of the building

Oven around the back of the building

Grave marker reads:

Joshua Dunning 1824-1909
Margaret Dunning 1863-1913
Baby Dunning 1894
Unknown miner 1910

A tiny picture of the stage stop when it was in service:
