I posted a ride over on IAMC for the Yellow Pine Harmonica and Music Fest during the first weekend of August. I'm personally not planning on doing a lot of riding besides up and back, but I am planning on doing a lot of drinking and bull shitting. Anybody interested?

I'm going! Taking the family with me though. Going to go fishing at Roosevelt Lake if you wish to come along. That said, my wife can sag our gear and you and I ride up, if you want.

I will be riding the ICT. North to South and I'm planing to hopefully time it so as to roll through Yellow Pine on that weekend....... I sure hope they have gas; they probably will. hope to see you there Tyson. Will also camp there or close so as to take in at least one night of festivities; it's about the halfway point.

Sam,

The last time I was in Yellowpine the only gas was sold in 5 gallon cans at the little store on Main St., also remember the storekeeper saying they haul the cans in and gas is not always available.

You may want to check it out.

Was just there. He's getting a fuel shipment again and the tanks are operational. There should always be gas in Yellow Pine from here on out. However, he is selling the General Store and keeping the restaurant, so who knows what new owners will do. But, until he sells, he will have gas.

Good to know Thanks. Well I'm sure he'll have gas at least through the rest of the summer.

I keep missing the Hells Canyon gathering so I'm headed to Northeast Oregon to see what's up. Probably leave late afternoon Friday the 20th.

I went solo and came back with 4 unfired shells in my 5 shooter.
I had to "bust a cap".

No it wasn't a snake, it was a vicious animal with 4 legs, big teeth and huge ears!

Careful for Rednecks with open containers!

(That's where I got hit by an F250 last year, on the way back into Middle Fork LO)
