Jason, did you make it up this way Sunday? Was it open? I would like to make a run up that way, but I was not sure of the roads. It would be nice to see what damage the fire did...

I didn't. I read my wife's body language and decided I'd go pick apples with the family instead. But I was thinking about riding.

The ride into Graham yesterday presented clear air, blue skies, and smoke free views from all directions..... and about 20,501 hunters. If there is any fire activity around the NE perimeter it wasn't obvious yesterday?

Sorta. Maybe I can get out early (morning meetings). I'll post or PM if I can. 70% chance of rain, though.

How'd you get back into Graham? The singletrack up Horsehaven or down the main road?

The road.... not sure the status of Horse Haven. I doubt it's been cut out this year.

Wife and older daughter are out of town so I've got the little ones I'd need to stick somewhere. She keeps asking but I don't think the five-year-old is ready to ride behind yet. I'll check some options and post back.

Sunday Ride

Sunday's weather should be good and a ride would be great.

Who wants to ride?

Sunday is trials riding day.

There is a small group 3-4-5 of us who get out to go trials riding most Sunday's. I have only been trials riding for the past 5-6 weeks and it just keeps getting better. The regulars tell me they go riding year round. That is what really got me interested as I just did not want to park my bikes for 4-5 months. It is a great work out and is more fun than I ever expected. If anyone is interested in trials riding come out to Celebration Park in Melba on just about any Sunday. I'll let you take my bike for a ride so you can see if it is for you.

Hope to see some new riders out there.

I have some tentative daughter-watching lined up and will probably have the boy on back. You or idahoskiguy have a destination in mind?
