We need to have a sit down and kinda talk it over. Maybe a luncheon/planning meetup, probably towards the end of November I post it up.

Do you have your Pass Port?

I really want to do another Copper Canyon Run ..
Yep, I have a passport. I have to be in AZ the last two weeks on January, then...no commitments.

Nice video

Boise local, and Happy Trails employee, Heath Hiatt at the BMW Adventure Summit in Utah, riding a 1150 GSA, and getting his trophy for being such an outstanding young man in his field. Or was he just out standing in a field...whatever dude. Just watch it, captures the feeling a lot of us have when out and about riding by ourselves.

It is not on the IAMC website. It is on the Happy-Trails website at this location below. Hope to see you there. Really enjoyed Alan's article for the October issue of our newsletter.

Trinity Ridge pictures

It was a beautiful if sometimes arduous ride.
The same pictures are on either Flickr or Facebook.

Pictures shortly.

In the spirit of the season I will answer by saying I'm
  • 100% heedful of private property and wilderness boundaries
  • 75% heedful of seasonal closures
  • 5% heedful of GS design parameters

Very well stated. You don't want to overwhelm that GS!

Hey there Boise, been on a hiatus and am keeping busy overhauling Moya, after 30K + figured it's about time.

I didn't know how hard it is to find 10 mm shims in this town

thank goodness for the internet...

Who ever thinks this kinda stuff is fun just Ain't Right..

Sweet

Took me 6 hours just to get to this point

Anyway Steep and Rocky really enjoyed your RR and Happy Belated Anniversary!! While reading your writeup I opened my Benchmark to follow along and I had 2/3 of that route highlighted as a todo.

Jason, remember mums the word and it's only wrong if your caught, but then again you can take that GS any place well except for slippery cantered bridges.

Still looking for a 2.50 shim.

Hope to see you guys next week at the presentation.

See you out there

Eureka! Finally done. Five days.

So, after 30, 361 miles of flogging Moya my mighty orange steed here's the results

The last time she was checked was at the dealership in Hawaii for her 600 miler.

New plugs

fresh oil and filter

new air cleaner

Coolant flush and renew

Just need a new rear and ... and, I'm thinking I need to find someplace warmer to ride.
