Yeah! that's why we joined IAMC there were others that liked to ride terrain we did.

Sadly, I fear the challenge stifled some of that spirit as well, not many level 3,4,or 5 sites!

Let the flogging begin!!!!
no flogging... but you might find a few of the sites on this years challenge a bit more challenging than in the past... give it a try.

My riding buddy is out for the rest of the season, so no go this year. Curious how things run with the new leadership as well. If something we're interested in attending is scheduled in the fall maybe we'll make it!

Good luck with your 2014 challenge sites at least one was gated last year and we couldn't get to it perhaps you'll have better luck this year.

I'd hope we are all your "riding buddies". Feel free to hook up with someone else and enjoy the sites!

Swan Falls Dam Area

This group may be interested in a post to the Access forum here.

http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=968164

I have read several posts over the last couple of years about access across Swan Falls Dam, most recently by Jason Abbott.

Idaho Power has submitted an application for a number of improvements to the area, so if you area concerned about future access, the public agenda for the Ada County Planning & Zoning can be found here;

I might be able to make this, but wasn't sure about bike size recommendations before I sign up...

Just remember: It isn't the size of the bike that matters... It's how you ride it! Right guys!!!?

I put "middle weight bikes" because that is what I'm riding and I know I can do Eagleson with it. If someone wants to show up on their GS1200 that is fine, we can skip Eagleson, unless they are confident they can do it. Smaller bikes are certainly OK too, we won't be doing any freeway speeds :)

I think a HUGE issue is that all don't get notifications when an event is posted. I'm fully aware of this issue and am working on how to resolve that. Please bear with me as I am still ramping up as the "web master".

I think Trailrider is referring to the SIDRA event out at Clay Peak ...
