Aluminum fuel tanks
I have made aluminum fuel tanks that replace the rear cargo plate. The tank is plumbed into the main tank. If the 950 that had the tank was from Jackson Wy more than likely I made it. I'm ashamed to say that I don't have any pics right now, but I'm making two more right away. They will be done some time next week and I will post some pics then.

How is the fuel transferred? What capacities are there? How heavy are they? How much do they cost?

Chromo + 1
All his racks are Chrome Molly steel , very strong and light . His 950 auxillary tank is very easy to use . I've had one on for all summer and have used various plastic tanks in the past Koplins etc..., plastics are a pain to use stoping to refill and messy. Most effect bike handling in a negative way too. These have baffels , we tried fuel cell foam in mine .I can hardly tell it's on board.
K.B. The tank is tied into the fuel line and vented to one front tank . 950TRANSALP screwed with this post 01-15-2008 at 08:41 AM |

Why won't the racks fit a 03' 450EXC, looks like the only diff is the one piece fender?

03 racks
On the 03 and older ktm's the bolt holes in the back of subframe are differant. Go to moto-sportpanniers.com they will have a rack to fit the 03, they are great guy's to deal with check them out.
I only make the rack for 04 and newer that they don't. Berg Briggs |
