Dirtbagz doesn't make a set of pannier racks for the 04-07 EXCs, only 03 and below. If it helps dirtbagz sell more bagz, why not?

I'm pumped for these, will be orderingin the spring.

Yes I have talked it over with Ed at Dirtbagz and he is ok with it. Ed is not interested in making racks for the 04-07 ktm exc. I fact if you were to call
Dirtbagz to order a set of racks for the 04-07 exc's Ed would give you my number.

I'M NOT IN ANY WAY A PART OF DIRTBAGZ just some one who needed some luggage for my 06 450 XC for a baja trip so I made my own racks.

I hope this clears things up.

Wow. I want to know more! What kind of oil are you running, for example? Your mileage beats Dirt Rider's RFS of 30,000 miles. When you put in the seal get the inner race as well. It grooves and will ruin a new seal if not replaced.

BBriggs -- you tear your seat installing your bags? Can you post a pix of the mount you made for the rear of the sub frame? (You can see mine back on about page 12.) How is the rear mount holding up to the usual crashes?

I bend channal out of 4130 to go around the rear sub frame so the bolt dosent take all the abuse. I also mount in three places so it will help stiffin
the sub fram a bit more.

No I did not tear my seat instailing the racks I hooked a branch.



With out the stock under fender I make some bushings but it works best with the stock under fender.

I don't have the 950 racks ready yet I have not had a lot of interest in them so other projects have come first. I do still plan on making at least one run of racks. Hopefully after the new year I will have a better idea of when the racks would be ready.

By any chance do you have a rack set-up for a KTM 950 SE. I have the CJ Rack on the back and was thinking that might be a good place to attach also.
