The shiny clamps on the TBs and the FD really look out of place

I'm afraid mine really pales in comparison to Richardo's.

I bought it several months ago. It has ~50,000 km and came equipped with a Throttlemeister, Remus Grand Prix Exhaust, K&M filter, BMW tank bag and BMW hard cases. Since then, I've added:

Touratech Windshield Spoiler
Touratech Sidestand Foot Extender
Touratech Rear Rack Extender
Touratech Toolbox Cover
RAM GPS Mount for TomTom
Bagster Tank Cover
SW Motech Crash Bars

I've also just bought a set of used Touratech Panniers and would like to add driving lights (possibly PIAA 540).

I was contemplated moving onto an R1150GS or possibly R1200GS/Adventure but was talked out of it by several of you for very good reasons. This is a great bike and worth hanging on to.

Lastly, I've really appreciated and benefited from all the feedback and information posted on this Forum. Sincere thanks guys.

The day after buying it...

How do you like the touratech dual headlights? Are they enough so you don't need aftermarket lights?

Post fiddle/farkle

Fully fiddle-able Wilbers front and back, HID50 spot and fog lights on a Migsel bar, Touratech gearbox 'Hardparts' and handguards, HEL braided brake lines. Don't think it needs anything more really. And it is now dirty thanks to a run yesterday down to Glen Coe

I can't ever seem to get a picture to upload to this site.

If one of you guys wanna help me out, feel free.

mods include a russel day long, 4 piaa lights, led auxiliary tail light stolen from a semi truck, external fuel filter, a throttle lock. since this trip, I went with a set of pelican/caribou cases from here, a full wonk wilbers setup from ebay, a stiebel horn, and replaced my caribou ( the animal, not the case) damaged rear view with a pair of ducati hypermotard led turn/ handguard /rearview setups from craigslist, moved the big piaas to the factory front turn signal locations, added a rear cargo plate from here mounted to a small hprc case for more tool storage, a couple of tool tubes for spare fuel and a fire extinguisher. Made a headlight protector from 3/16 mild steel rod ( it has a block off plate for the oil cooler for winter use ) and a centerstand diamond plate skid plate thing. Made an exhaust extension from a chunk of my old tv antenna tower. Wrapped that in a plumbers soldering pad from lowe's with stainless zip-ties to further prevent damage to plastic bits near the exhaust.

Oh, and I made quasi-pivot pegz from a set of bicycle pedals I had laying around. They make me laugh.
