Here you have mine,

bought last december and not really a good start, as it had a broken gearbox and BMW gave no solution, 6 moths delivery for the input shaft. So I purchased a complete used gearbox and placed it on the bike. Not sure if it is M97 or previous, but it is running fine now.

Appart from this I am pretty sure I have the bike I dream of.

Been wanting to take a few new pics of the 98 Pig, and tonite was pretty nice out. Of all the BMW's I've owned, I love this one the most. Its' taken me around Alaska, thru the battlefields of the Cival War in Virginia and West Virginia, the Smokies, the Rockies and countless points in between. Last year was Alaska. Winter time found me around the house for 6 weeks dealing with cancer treatments, so I thru it up on the lift table and spent weeks detailing and getting the last of Alaska off it. Then I swapped the 910's over to HID ( BIG LIGHT ). I thru a new started in it at the same time, battery was before I went to Alaska. Decided to powdercoat the crash bars since they were starting to look old, and decided to do my nifty H-B luggage rack at the same time. New Spiegler lines after my return from Colorado. While dealing with the cancer stuff, I wandered into my dealer and he had a pristine K1200 GT slant 4 that followed me home. Much easier for me to get on and off of ( 29 " inseam ) and thought maybe it would replace the Pig, but not just yet. It's just a great bike.

An inmate here posted it up in the Flea Market. Said it was from Hepco Becker. I'd never seen one before...or after. Jumped on it immediately. It actually locks into place of the rear seat. It's steel, so my magnetic Marsee bag is just sitting on it. When I need to carry something home from the store, the bag goes on the tank and I strap it on......my nice rack !!!

No need. I don't ride off-road lately due to a back injury that can't tolerate the abuse, so it's all twisties for me. Ohlins shocks, low riser Ricky bars, an IICE-AIR, Lennie's Rocket Sprockets, and Continental Road Attack's...it doesn't get any better, IMHO.
