This is a cross post, but I'm still drooling over Long Canyon on the Burr Trail last weekend. This road needs to be on your riding bucket list!

I put my 1995 to work this week. I was able to commute for several days riding just over 400 miles. That is a huge amount for me! When I got in the Jetto yesterday with my wife I felt as if I was downright uncomfortable.

The GS gets over 41 MPG on the interstate, hauls heavy loads just fine and allows me to smell everything! Is there a better way to haul wire feeders, welders, oats, train for two up or ride to a soccer game? I don't think so.

These pics are from a winter ride. It was in the 20's, dry and speeds never exceeded 35 mph so I had a great ride without cold fingers.

New to me today, ain't she purdy. Purchased from a long time ADV'er who has taken her all the way to Panama among other fun places.

Hey... I wanted an already experienced Beemer that knew the way.

It's been here before, but it's time for a return.

My Black Pearl, freshly bathed and looking her stately best. Black IS the new black.

And travelling last year. Needs more of that.
