Obviously, Louis Feinburg.

It's common knowledge among Hollywood-types like myself.

Wedgesday

Happy Wedgesday, folks. I don't think the rain is going to keep us away. Hope to see some of you there.

Great showing last evening...despite the early rain! We were all able to delight our palates and shared many laughs - especially this one:

b00t even exclaimed, "Hey! It's like we are in the beginning of our own version of 'On Any Sunday'!" (adult male taking off on an itty-bitty little scooter)

Looking forward to this weekend at Rick's! (Cafe Americain?) Hugs (or a free beer) to anyone who gets that reference!

Hey , Did that scooter make my but look big . My Brother thought so . I thought it looked good on me ! Good meeting and or seeing everyone . I'll be back !

Ummmm...no hard riding for me this weekend. I have a perfect example of a deep partial thickness burn on the inside of my right knee - burned through my riding pants. I was even picking skin off my pants (eeeeewwww!), after I rode back to camp (in WV). ouch. So, I am:
1st- in need of new pants (preferrably with thick leather around the inner knees), and
2nd - will probably ride mostly street this weekend as steering with my knees is not a pleasant experience at the moment.

But, if anyone is up for a mostly street/some gravel or dirt combo ride - please lemme know!

That sounds pretty nasty. I hope you are having fun otherwise!

Where is everybody?? 5 days since the last post and the thread is on page 3....WTF??

There has been some discussion about changing the name of the thread to something a little more appropriate since it has evolved into so much more than just the dinners. I have talked to Ncbub and he has agreed to PM the mods and have the name changed to whatever we agree upon.

Think about it and maybe we can discuss it at the Wedge tonight. Suggestions?? I think lgajohnymac had a suggestion at one time but I have long since forgotten it.

Fancy and I had a quick BS session and came up with a few:

DART: Dualsporters of Asheville Riders Thread
MARS: Mountain Area Riders Society What do you think Cuttle?
AART: Asheville Area Riders Thread

BARF - BlueRidge Area Rider Forum

DICKS - Dualsport In Carolinas Kickin Shit

SHITE - Southern Hills In To ENduro

WNC SHOCKERS -

kidding on all accounts, I think we need a poll once we get some stuff down...also, does it have to be a acronym? Can't it be like WNC Motorcycle Death Squad From Above MC?

PS: the Honda Urban Express has been sold...well, traded actually for a 76 KH 100 - 2t kawasaki oil injected beater that doesn't run but has clean title...

Tonight you meat the pack mule, my new 86 Honda CT 110 - climbs trees and eats anything!!

I vote for BARF.

Boot, I like the new ride. That thing is cherry. I am now on the hunt for a moped. I will use the lady friend as an excuse for buying another vehicle as it will be 'hers'.

Anyone riding tomorrow or Sunday? There is some riding near H'ville that I want to check out as well as the Jocassee seasonal roads, if they are still open. I am up for anything though. I am hoping to get out earlyish tomorrow.
