The hub is in Brevard. At the intersection of 276 and 280.

It looks like its going to be pretty nice today. I'm going to head out for some chain adjustment in a few minutes. I've live here just over a month - I've only been riding 3 times - whatever ride I lead should prove unimpressive at best.

Party on.

Keys

Ray, Sorry about those keys man.........

Thanks for the company today. I'm up for more as they come up. We need to plan a trip over here in the Nantahala area.

Thanks again, Drew

Did you all pass a silver V-Strom (me) on 475 near the Daniel Ridge Trailhead.

The rider of the last bike was sporting a red ponytail.

Lost Keys

Somewhere heading from Bent Creek gap parking area to the Parkway I lost a set of GIVI keys that also have the only key to my vintage Honda. THere is a Santa Fe brewing company bottle opener on there. If you find them you get a free case of beer.

I would love to have them back.

I thought that might be you.

There's only one other red-ponytailed rider in the area I know, and I'm pretty sure I left her at home.

Were you on a KTM?

I wish you had posted this earlier, It would have given me time to come up with an excuse/explanation/lie/carefully crafted statement to form an expedition of one this afternoon.

I'd try calling the Ranger Station if you havn't already.

They have a big box of stuff and a list of missing stuff they try to match up.

Don't axe how's I be knowin's 'bouts it.

I bet you didn't know I pulled a u-turn but failed to catch up.

I was afraid I might get swallowed up by one of the craters between Daniel Ridge nd the pavement. I suspected ya'll took a left before the hatchery, so I did.

It was my first time on dirt with my newish bike since the Cadillac incident, it was a glorious day.

Yes Ma'am.

Edit: I'm back. Just had an aged Dalmation poop under my desk. I guess she doesn't like doing that in a downpour.

Actually, I have done a little bit of some dirt but my HID's went out immediately afterward. Coincidence?

I figures, "What the hell, the weather will be crap soon and if it breaks, I'll fix it then".

The kankle feels okay, not 100% but close.
