I hear that having a bunch of hardware in your leg/knee/hip makes you faster. At lkeast that's what the doctor told me when I got out of surgery. I still call BS though!!!

My experience is ..........It doesnt make you faster but you have a tendency to keep your feet on the pegs..........dont want to jam that foot on anything...........

Roger that.

Unfortunately, it's the first one down at a stop.

BTW, it's my boy's 14th birthday.

See how focused he is. His mom is holding beer which is his favorite food, he could care less about his costume.

Speaking of beer, I bumped into Mr.Ray last night at a gig.

I would recommend beer lovers treat him very nicely.

We should have a bike night over here. We can order food in and we do have soda for the non drinkers.

Sometimes we have food trucks here too.

That would suck for me because it's too close to my house to even bother suiting up.

Heck, I'll just suit up and take the cage like my cruiser friends.

Is it legal to wear a motorcycle helmet while driving your car?

I would love to have them back.

I missed that part.

Let me know exactly where you think you lost them, it looks like a nice weekend.

I may drop in the afternoon to meet my son, the aspiring brewologist.

Somewhere after I drank water at the Bent Creek parking area. Headed towards the parkway. I can't be any more accurate in my guess. I'll never find them. I'll be getting some new keys soon.

Hot Springs

Hey folks... I need a little help planning a trip. I live down the mountain from you all in Cleveland County... In a few weeks I'm taking a small group of folks camping/riding in and around Hot Springs. Our plan is to camp at the campground in town and cut out 1-2 days for a good dual sport ride.

I'm pretty familiar with the area... My wife used to guide on the French Broad and I worked on the Nolichucky for 4 seasons... We still frequent Hot Springs a few times a year but I've never ridden my dual sport (XR650L) in the area.

What is a good route to plan? We're looking for fire roads and gentle trail... minimal pavement. I know how to get to the Rich Mtn fire tower so I was going to look in that area first but thought you all might have some better suggestions. I have the Nat Geo Trails Illustrated map for the area as my primary source.

Also... I know there is a big dual sport weekend at the campground... When is it this year?

Thanks guys! Clint
