Asheville-WNC Adventure Rider - Page 51

OK fellow NC ADV’ers… Need your input to help honor another.

This will be to nominate an individual for service they do in some special ways.

Here is the type of person that you should speak up for.

They suffered a brain injury while in armed services that altered their life.
They have done a great job of working to reclaim their life.
AND, they also give back to the community in ways that are to be commended.

And alternative is a soldier who gives extra effort to help those who have suffered a brain injury.. (no.. not the good guy for you brain injured dirtriders who picks you up when you didn’t see the tree coming at ya)

This is for an award to be given at a banquet end of January.

If you know of such a person., PM me please ASAP!

Any one have thoughts on the next WNC dinner. I guess the 2nd Thursday is coming up in a few days, but since I haven't seen any comments yet, is the 8th too early?

Heck, it's the first time that I've heard of a Asheville/WNC dinner for this area. Let me know when the dinner will be and if I can manage the time, then I'll certainly attend.

I can be there with my son. Cuttle, my son is beginning a Dive Master course in Manzanillo Mexico later this month. Would you guys be will to discuss SCUBA stuff with him? Maybe tell him what he is getting into.

Too bad about North Star, but their location was mediocre and their sign was invisible in evening from the street. Somebody shudda told them (I did, but that didn't help).
