Sorry we didn't make it. One of our cats who had been my wife's pet for fifteen years, died yesterday.

I don’t know what has happened to these dinners. Maybe now that riding season is back, interest will pick up again.

Tour de Tellico is happening this weekend. We will still be in town Thursday night though.

The interest in this dinner seems to have fizzled out. I wish we could figure out how to bring it back.

Hey Kenny, I'm one of the partners in the brewery that makes that beer your holding. I've been thinking about doing an ADV night at the brewery. Would you be interested in playing?

sorry for the name mix-up, i had a pint of rye hopper in my cheerios. point is, i'd be open to having an adv meet up at the brewery and an informal pickin' session with the musically inclined inmates. i have a feeling there are a few here that have played there before and i may already know.

Great...we don't have food (only liquid bread) so it probably wouldn't be a good spot for a dinner. If we get some guys together who wanna pick, I could probably get a bar tender in on a Sunday afternoon/evening which would be a great way to finish up a ride! BTW, the brewery is in Biltmore.

Yep, I'm Kurt. I'm the good lookin' one, Kenny is the other one. It would be great to play at the FB. I normally don't play mando in public, but if we could get a banjo, mando, and fiddle it would be fun. As far as guitar goes, I'm "strictly rhythm, I don't want to make it cry or sing." Anybody old enough to know what song that line is from? I'm at the FB most every Friday night. Cute bartender knows me by my drinking habits. I won't be there the next few Fridays though, Eastern Rendevous, etc. Let me know if this is gonna happen!!

I must say you are a handsome devil, Kurt. Our beer does tend to have that effect. I probably shouldn't tell you this but that cute bartender goes about a duece and a half and has a mustache.

Just kidding, Crystal is great. We may have met at one point...I used to keep this monstrosity ("The Tard") in the brewery.

I can definately make this happen...let's just get through the next couple of weeks and get a poll going on who'd be up for a Sunday afternooner (5pm - 8pm?). If the response is good - 10 or 15 folks - I'll schedule it.

French Broad beer is all I have drank (except for a couple of PBRs with Boojum) since New Year's. It does make one attractive. I can't wait until tomorrow because I get better looking every day.

I don't remember that bike. If I had seen it, I would not have forgotten it!! We probably have met. There is nothing I like more than craft beer and local music. I saw the Stereofidelics at the French Broad a few weeks ago. I had never seen them before. When they kicked off their set my jaw hit the floor. Damn, those kids can play!!!!! Unlike me, they were real musicians. I also know the slide guitar play from Tennessee Hollow. I don't know how you guys do it, but you have become a great venue in Asheville. I'll PM you the next Friday I can make it and maybe we can meet face to face.
