Furthermore, for you guys who are going to freak about water proofing, I can probably go back to Walmart and pick some rain pants that would cover the whole system.

Carbon fiber cloth is a bear to mess with and is itchy . Black cloth would be like micarter board.

I started dabbling in the CF dept. a few months ago and have made a few trinkets I like for my BMW F800GS.

And the newest piece to be made... I am waiting on some more CF to come in, but it will be a new rad guard.

but they should be handy.
A stainless catch held with stainless hardware on a spacer with an o-ring to keep it from rattling. One on either side of the sub-frame screwed in to a factory bolt hole(Could use a riv-nut to put them someplace else) Way easier than trying to fish the rok-strap around the frame rail. Rated for 90 pounds.
