Midnite Halloween ride in Golden

Yep. We had a halloween party, always do, but we were just itchin to ride as well. Everyone was havin a gooood time, just like Juan here...

Wes dressed a wicked real Jesse James! and his daugter was a butterfly, Mom was of course a caterpillar...

We warmed up with some good ol BMX trials thru the house, I was a Hillbilly (easy part to play fer me)..

Wes was all over it, cleanin the courses in style..

As Wes put it, I either needed less beer, or more beer. I chose more beer, as it was the only option at the moment...

And of course then we got in the advrider mood! Let's see, we need a motor here...maybe,

The GASGAS! oh yeah, a little hard to start in the 32F weather, but we got it...ready for some halloween adventure now! the ride would carry us up 30 vertical feet during our 200 foot adventure, with a gnarly trials course on top of the plateau.

There Wes enters the back door of Chateau d'Weber, obviuosly to some surprise inside. This was the beginning of the course. My wife was acting as scorer for the course.

No dabs for him, carpet is easy!

The couch wasn't so easy on the GASGAS, but at least it was a good attempt.

MY TURN YFF, I'LL SHOW YOU HOW IT'S REALLLLY DONE!

Thru the entry gate again,

and what kind of party isn't complete without a burnout on an ice covered deck? braaaaaaap

No dabs here for pro-loaded-hillbilly-rider, but we did leave some tracks, which my wife counted as double tripple points.

Another succesful adventure ride, enjoying some territory Wes and I had never ridden on a motorcycle!

In the end the points scored (by my wife Kelli/two-up troopper!!) as:

Wayne: 42 years of housecleaning duty (negotiated as deal instead of sleeping in gutter for 8 years)
Wes: Banished from entering house on wheeled vehicles, or with any malicious Jesse James type of look on his face.

Later on I fell of the stair railing and Wes had to superglue my ear back together, so we didn't have to go to the ER. But that's like WAY off topic. Happy Halloween advriders!!!!

Ride Responsibly,

Damn, I guess I should have stayed around for the Moto Trials session....Next time I'll go for the MORE beer option.

And, NO, it's not a rented house - just in need of new carpet, so what the hell. You guys don't actually spend your hard earned motorcycle money on things like furniture and carpet do you?!?

Too bad we didn't get pictures of Wayne riding the BMX down the spiral staircase. Quite entertaining indeed! As can be expected in such an event, he made it half way down with no dabs, but finished the course on his head.

Can't wait until next years party - I'll be showing up to that one on my GasGas so we can get the party started early!

No good pics, And I'm an engineer/brewer not a doctor so take this as entertainment, but it's pretty easy. 1) wash your hands really good, sanitize them with hyd. peroxide or alcohol, clean thewound REALLY good, scrub it, hydrogen peroxide, inspect it, be really anal. Kindof like the doctors should. 2) close the wound and line it up carefully. Carefull line up minimizes scarring. 3) "stitch" the wound with superglue. My ear had three "stitches". The idea is to hold it together but still let it breath. 4) remove the superglue (peel it off) when the wound has healed enough to stay closed, and keep neosporin on it every day until healing is complete. Monitor for infection (swelling, oozing, increasing pain etc and get to the hospital asap if you see this.) use of red LED lights also increased rate of healing.

DIDN'T you read the scores? riding inside was added to the list of future mortal crimes, along with blowing up Pepsi's in the microwave, beer bottle bowling and drinking straight Bombay Saphire. Sorry Juan, you lost the opportunity. Maybe at your house?
