As an update to this - and as an Englishman with only a Maplin nearby - here was my solution:
Order the red ones (Ins Bullet Red JH85G): ![]() They fit snugly into this: ![]() Insulate the exposed terminals with some gaffer tape and you're good to go. Not pretty, but it works. |

Another source of connectors
This company (based in UK) sell a lot of vehicle wiring kit, some of which looks like the connectors used on the KTM 640.
http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.e...connectors.php I spent the weekend installing an HID lamp conversion and ended up thinking it would be good to rebuild much of the wiring loom with better quality water-proof connectors. I have used the company quite a lot and they are very reliable but I'm not sure about export to the US |

Midterminc.com has more connectors. Once I get home to my computer I can post the other link I can't seem to find right now that has more.

Ay updates or knowledge about where to buy individual or small numbers of Molex connectors?
These look like the right family http://www.molex.com/molex/products/...e=Introduction Can anyone confirm that? ![]() I called the Aus/NZ molex distributor (http://nz.element14.com/molex) and they said that molex only sell the automotive connectors directly to the automotive industry. But if we can find the right part-no, and it displays on thier website they can sell them directly.
