2 Year + Lurker Finally Registers
Hi there... I've been lurking around this forum for over 2 years and finally decided to register. Between the excellent technical information and ride reports here, and some very favourable reviews of the updated '08 KLR650 on *other forums, I bit the bullet and bought one in July. I've been riding street for over 20 years and have always wanted to get into some of the more adverturous stuff. Planning a trip next summer to do the James Bay highway and Trans Taiga highway to properly christen my KLR. So far the KLR has been great, with the exception of a few loose bolts and a leaky countershaft o-ring and shift shaft seal (easy fixes, but what luck!). Cheers.

You have to dip the whole bike in loc-tite...
