Dual Sport Tire price comarison
I'm ready to replace my Scorpions on my 06 KTM 950 Adventure and started a tire comparison picture report. I only added tires that will fit this bike. If there are other brands that are not in the list or if a tire does not fit let me know
I arrange the picture in order of rating from Street to offroad. It nice to see how the tread design progresses. Check the below replies I added charts with links to the manufacture site and a couple of store site that sells these tires for just a comparison on price. Rear Dual Sport Tires 140/80-18 to 150/70-18 Front Dual Sport Tires 90/90/21 Enjoy

Duros
I have had great service and results with these. I have an 89 Honda NX 650 and am on my second pair of them. Though Dennis Kirk I got both tires with shipping for $90. bucks and change.

FRONT Dual Sport 90/90-21 Chart Part 1 of 3
I created a chart of all the Front and Rear tyres that may fit a KTM950. Could not put all the text in one listing due to being too long.
If a tyre is missing or does not fit this bike let me know. Thanks Marty FRONT Dual Sport 90/90-21

Duro 904
"I created a chart of all the Front and Rear tires that may fit a KTM950. Could not put all the text in one listing due to being too long.

For my use they stick very well. I've not slid the rear tire in a corner on decent pavement at all. I have touched down the toe of my boot occasionally too. I have no problem running with about anything in the corners. When we traded bikes one afternoon, my Aprilia 550SM riding buddy commented, "I don't know how you go so fast on this (KLX678)." All I could say is 40,000 miles in the saddle and high corner speed. And you don't get that from junk tires. That comment from him was huge, he's got some very good riding and racing background. I will say they are questionable for a rider that wants to do serious woods riding unless the trails have very little mud or slippery conditions. I've done some trails, including one really greasy clay haul road and survived, but would prefer a knobbie and a lighter bike myself. The Duros will handle groomed trail riding though. We spent a day riding Ohio SR555 and 78 to Nelsonville to ride in the Wayne National Forest. We did fine on all counts, but didn't try the really harder challenging trails. Again bike too big for me in that situation and no knobbies - I'm not stupid. I will also let you know that is riding light on a 650 single, our camping gear consists of a backpack and a creditcard. I can not speak for full loaded riding. I'll let that for others. From my experience and some feedback from others, I recommend these tires as good ones to try out. The price is simply the icing on the cake. I bought them when I couldn't really afford anything more expensive. I had looked at them, but didn't buy until it was financially necessary. Now it isn't, but I still buy them. I am that impressed with how they worked for me. They may or may not work well for you or any others, but they are worth a trial. You might find they meet your needs.
