Who makes the best 17 inch knobbies?

I think Ill do 17 inch knobbies on the supermoto, who makes the best ones available in 120 17 and 150 17?

I'm gonna say the (Dunlap) D606 for DOT cert. off-road traction. I have no knowledge of the Michelin Baja. The best compromise street/dirt (rocky-hardpack) is probably the TKC80.

Those look like TKC 80's to me. Donlop does make the d606 in a 17, I've been looking at them for my DAKAR.

You'll find a lot of rears, it's hard to find a front wide enough. Kenda Trackmaster is one. Barb

You said you wanted knobbies??? did you mean 50/50 tires like what everyone posted? Or did you really mean knobbies>? Cause there is a big difference in off road traction.

But the above tires are ok for normal trail riding. But there are other options for more agressive riding.

Maybe the size isn't noticeable with all those knobs, but how does a 130 front feel (steering) compared to the stock 120's on most SM's? It looks huge ...

They are Maxxis 6006 on the DR.

The only D606 Knob in a 17 is a 130/90.

You can get a correct size Cheng Shin C755 front 275 or 350/17 (and it's $18.00)

You can get a correct size Cheng Shin C760 rear 560/17 ($51.00)

755

760

I may try these myself sometime.

EDIT (I forgot, these are not DOT, but who cares, I run slicks on the road. )
