Eek is anybody riding their XChallenge off road?

so is anybody riding their XChallenge or is everybody farkling them and taking pics of them spankin' clean? They stopped production of these bike a few years back and I have seen so many of these that look like they have never been down a dirt road let alone on their side in axle deep mud in tight singletrack.

Pics of dirty-ridden-worn XChallenges??

Teeth to the wind,
Sno Dawg

P.S. Yes - my XChallenge had more scratches than miles (about 4900 miles - about 4400 are off road). It is well kept and runs perfectly, but looks like it has been ridden hard and it has.

P.P.S. I am not trying to to start an argument, just trying to see pics of XChallenge with farkles being put to real use.
Do the farkles hold up or are they just bike jewelry?

I have had it a little over a month now, after owning the XCo for a year. Came from Utah where it had a rough life...

These were all at Redbird Park in Indiana

8 days out west. Riding the Forever West Route. Co, Ut, Wy.. There's an X-Tank under there. Ohlins rear shock, Seat Concepts redone seat (huge improvement), progressive front spring. Third (and last set of mirrors, ha) not crazy farkled, but 17,000 very challenging miles on mine.. Too many scratches to cover with stickers..
Knock on wood, has never let me down..

which bike? big bike!

Yo Tammy - I will be there, but I think I am bringing the big bike this year. Jeff does a great job leading the ride and early morning breakfast at the diner in Palmerton sets you up nicely for the day.

See you there,
Sno Dawg

Nice setup MizzouRider! Tell me, how does the X-tank work with the Dirtbagz? Do they play well together? Did you have to modify the Dirtbagz bracket to give the X-tank clearance?

I'm running a three day rally in Canada soon and last year we ran out of daylight before getting off the trails, so this year I was determined to improve my odds. Since I found very little for pictures of lights mounted on this bike, I thought I would share what I came up with. Although I was able to test the light last night, I have no idea how this will hold up.

A little more detail on the bracket. It's a bit overkill, but it's what I had on the shelf for stock.

What kind of lights are those? Rigid?

After the zombie apocalypse, nothing will be left but cockroaches and those brackets!

I mounted some round LED lights on an XR400 just using the indicator mount. And there was now issue after 2 weeks of riding off-road.
And mine where no where near as beefy as that. So I think you will be fine.
