Acerbis Rally 2 handguards on the G650X Challenge
These are a nice set and mount up well except the bracket that goes around the handlebar isn't a big enough diameter to fit the bar. Acerbis shows two different part numbers for larger bar diameters: one for "Magura" bars and one for "Pro-Taper style" bars.
Any idea which one to get to fit the bike? Thanks, M |

any of you guys got good photos of the TT rack rails and how they mount, I looked at the rack at the BMW dealer on the X-Ch and think it is very nice but the rack surface sucks. I like the way the mounting rails act as grab rails, Does the TT one mount the same way and if so is it sturdy enough to use as grab rails, is there room for your hand to use them as grab rails.

If anyone has photos of an accessory MSR fuel bottles mounted, I'd love to see them.
I can't find the bottles on MSR's web site. |

PacWestGS has some great shots of the TT fuel tank in the Threadfest and has pics of TT's new shorty bashplate..
Is there any advantage to having the smaller plate? ![]()

I have a Rekluse in my YZ 250. Don't mistake it for a semi-auto. It is still very important to be in the right gear. Remember that the whole theory behind this great product is that it "slips" the clutch for you and alot more precisely. I won'tgo into the technicals as their website it is full of great info.
I will say that you still have to ride with good throttle control and clutch control. This Rekluse just helps in the clutch control regard. In fact I recommend that most folks learn to use a standard clutch and learn good throttle control before purchasing a Rekluse. But it does eleminate most of your stalling issues. At lower rpm, especially when lug the bike, it will slip better than you or I can slip the clutch to maintain traction. |

I dunno... I like slipping the clutch.. and I have good clutch control... but I would appreciate the rear brake moved to the handlebar...
bottom line, I would love to try a bike with the Rekluse clutch and then decide.. I'm not a racer, but do like going in the woods with riders with smaller bikes.... plus.. I do have a reputation to uphold ![]() I'll look forward to one of you FF's to get it installed and give us your full review
