Yep, I'll be there. Anyone from C-bus that wants a ride, let me know. I'm hauling in the TTR. I can fit one more in the bed.

The key is finding another riding area open during the winter. There are very few and they are far in between. Mines has some decent beginners trails as long as you stay on the routes that avoid the low lands that have hole big enough to snag a tank.

Once winter set in you have to be careful near the quad trails as their tire ruts can freeze to pure crystal ice. AT one of the winter races I did the trails in the park were were so crystal clear, you could see though 2 " of ice to the gravel below and kids were sitting in the ruts and body boarding all the way to the bottom at speed!

I'm thinking about taking a 3 day trip to NC the 1st week of March in hopes of having some warm weather riding.

Better get to the garage, my mistress is waiting

Not lately. Last time I pm'ed him, in March, it took a couple days for him to get back to me. I think he had to drive to Iowa to find a computer on the net.

Trailer? I was thinking of riding over. I guess I'll just ride the local road stuff if I get out. That's what I bought the winter gloves for anyway. I'm sure I could use your suggestions on technical riding, but it would be a waste with me on the KLR. I'll bring the 450 after the torque limiter is replaced. Have fun.

I was taking the trailer because someone else will be using it for a shelter to work on something when I get there, and it's hard to ride 2 bikes there. The plan was to burn some of the remaining moisture out of the 640 riding with you then ride the 250 with Karl since it's easier to throw down and pick up when some one needs assistance. The 640 only has a center stand, a pain in the ass in stop and go situations.

No reason why you still can't ride down
