sight glass replaced and the gearbox and final drive are both splashing Castrol Hypoy C mixed with Guard Dog Moly around inside them.

I think there are other fluid recomendations for your bike.
(R1200GS(A - maybe) with a hole through the FD, right?

I'm not sure exactly where you live and how much gravel needs moved, but I have a little Deere with a front end loader, i could toss it and the bike on the trailer , move your gravel, and we could go riding.

Thanks for the offer, kindly appreciated. We have a little utility JD too, but it's not of a ton of use for this because it's mostly pea-gravel that's scattered in the grass. Trying to lift it out with a bucket just tears up the yard. I'll fling it back onto the driveway and run the blade over it a few times to grade it and it'll be ready for the next raping by mother nature.

But, on the riding, that's always something I'm good for. I live just north of Granville, BTW.

I'm headed over to Madison, IN on Saturday for a group ride around the area.

Right on, I was in your area yesterday exploring, your roads are a lot more fun than our roads...

Yeah, if you go east from here it's all good. Start going north or west and it turns to meh.

I'm right at that line.

Yeah, GSA with a hole through the final drive.

I'm sure the recommendations for snake oil are different. Time for FD lube replacement at the next oil service, suppose I should get some moly stuff for the splines too.

Good deal. How does 10 am at the BP in Danville sound? Anyone else? All are welcome to join the fun.

I got this for the splines

I think BMW is recomending Castrol SAF-XO 75W90 for your final drive. Sills BMW sells the stuff for $45/qt. Supposedly Land Rover dealers sell the same stuff for 1/3 of that under part # LRN7591.

Have fun.

I'm in unless it is a torrential downpour. I don't mind drizzle, but those big drops suck with no visor...

Side note, I am looking for a smallish (40 ish horsepower) skid loader. If anyone knows of one for sale, send em my way.
