I have a Slipstreamer Windshield that I used on my old Magna during the winter months. I left the little spitfire on it when I traded the bike wish I would have kept that one. Its in good condition. Shipping would be cost prohibitive so I'm not going to bother with FM here or CL/ebay. These are $150-200 new. I'll take $75.

Help me offset my CRF farkle fund.

I used the Tusk guards, they seem to work fine. I use a Richocet skidplate, but I think there's another brand that has better wrap around protection.
I don't know how tall you are, it took 30mm risers and CR Mid Bars (Tusk brand) to get the bars up high enough for me, but I'm 6'2".
I would like to try the HDB guards and some ProTaper bars, but I'm much too frugal for that kind of cash outlay on the WRR.

Pro Taper SE are really not super expensive, you can find them for $50 or so, and they are really great bars.

Tusk guards are decent, but they are kind of a one time use deal. The hardware especially, is very soft and not up to repeated tightening or removal / reinstallation. Having used Tusk, Moose, Enduro Engineering, Acerbis, Cycra, possibly a few others I have to say Cycra is the best... totally bulletproof, hard fasteners that don't strip, interfaces well with control cables and levers, plus as I continually remind people, it is made in Ohio so you are supporting local industry.

speaking of farkles, the new tailbag I ordered for Sabrina came in today. I got it mounted up right away, of course:

its designed to slide over the sissy bar of a cruiser, but with just a few modifications I was able to get it securely strapped down:

bike looks better now than it did before with that old TourMaster bag I had strapped...less KLR-ish

something like 20 liters of storage, with a rain cover for less than $60 shipped...I cant complain.

spent the last hour reorganizing all the "I dont wanna be stranded on the side of the road" crap I carry. It all fits nicely.

For a rifle or pistol? Yeah they're legal in Ohio unless you're in one of those liberal nanny cities.
