My 606 seems to be wearing about as well as the 270 I had on my KLR 250, which is awesome. I was really expecting it to grind down fast, but it's held up really well. I will definitely be sticking with them on the WRR, prob go to a 244/270 on the CRF since it's Krista's and she won't be doing any real trail work for a while.

What, you don't like that squirmy feeling? I like shifting to second in the middle of a turn and the rear end scooting a foot or so, keeps you on your toes.
Maybe I'll try a 606 in the future.

I though that was normal until my cheap ass got a bike that already had a 606 on it.

I love the Trakmaster.

Just didn't want it to get dogpiled.

You got a 950 SE? Aren't those made by KTM? Next thing you know EJV will be placing an order for a new Tenere!

I've had the 950 SE since 2010. Where have you been?

+1, I ran the shit out of the Trakmasters, I prefer it to the 606 hands down. The 606 was better on the road, but didn't wear that much longer to make it preferable, and especially at the cost difference.

Obviously the TMII is better in the mud, but even in hardpack I liked it better - I could slide and spin it with more control than the 606 and it seemed to respond better to pressure differences. The 606 kind of felt the same at 30psi or 15, but the TMII I could tweak with air pressure to suit where I was riding.

For front tires, they both sucked IMHO, at least compared to other stuff I ran. Still cheeses me they quit importing the C755, that was the best front/rear combo I ever had on a dirt bike, for longevity and all around dual sport performance...and cripes they were about the cheapest tire sold.

Can anyone in the Ohio thread help me identify this old bike?
I'm trying to dig up some history of the workplace, so even a ball park of the era would help.
Thanks
