Yeah, a Nexus... They're notorious for red tint. There are root fixes out there but I haven't found the right one yet

That was the plan. My friend starts the rally Monday. Unfortunately I'm still in Texas.

Heck, I can just use that place and time as my Columbus starting point for heading to the little bike ride too.
Sounds like you're planning on rolling out at 8am (which works for us too) so if you want food, you'll want to arrive a bit earlier.

I can't remember who has the small gas tanks... but it's about 85 miles to get to Caldwell, and every bit of 2 hours. Hopefully we can get there without a gas stop in the middle, but it doesn't really matter I suppose, we'll do what we have to do.

But that's my plan at least; and it's always up for review.

Back brake fixed, saddlebags on, tools and tube in one side, 2 qts of 93 octane in the other. Mismatched wheels, but they'll be too muddy to tell soon.
I might even bring a rain jacket. See y'all at 10am.

That think needs to be in the dirt! I can't wait to get one.

That's what I bought it for. It had a few more problems that I anticipated, so I missed the spring enduros/dual sport rides. Tomorrow is its shakedown ride. I've only rode on 30 miler on it. I think it's going to end up needing a steering stabilizer. It starts to head shake at about 80 in the gravel, so I have to weight the front, then it runs on up to 95 alright. I checked & tightened the headset, so I'll see how it does on a longish gravel ride tomorrow.

Lima

I'm going to Lima tomorrow night with my dad. Who else is going? I'll be in a white Redline Triumph T-shirt that says "Trust Me" in Triumph font on the front (because you can... trust me that is...)

Looking forward to meeting a few folks,

Pete

If I'm the only other one, I got about 180mi till bone dry so I'll be fine.
