Very nice.

Mine is an 09 also and I haven't had any trouble with the FD or anything else, now over 56k on it.
I still love the bike.

I've really limited my offroad this year, I had two bad crashes last year and I'm still not fully recovered. Part of me loves doing it and the workout is great, but I have to admit I ride pretty scared now and it's sucked a lot of the enjoyment out of it. Never got that with offroad motorcycles, because I always felt somewhat protected by the gear but bikes demand you ride exposed.

I saw a used Craftsman 2 HP / 6 Gal / 135 PSI air compressor at a flea market and took it home after talking the price down to $40. It came with a newish hose, but no tools.

I plugged it in to see if it'll work and found the onboard circuit breaker trips at 50 PSI. After pushing it back in, it'll trip at 65 PSI and then again at 75 PSI.

This is my first compressor, so I don't know what I'm doing. Is this normal?

Is the motor getting excessively hot? If not it could be just a weak breaker or maybe someone replaced the breaker with the wrong one. Come to think of it I dont think I've ever noticed one that had it's own on board breaker before, could be a home made addition and it may not be of a high enough amperage.

No on the hot engine or extension cord. Tomorrow I'll try a different outlet or try measuring the input voltage while its running.

Well, the Tenere wonder twins had a good ride today.

I was loving the new ride and trying to break it in without breaking it. But a mack truck wasn't taking the smile off my face.

Several gravel roads and Lisa's first time on the Rail Road bed with her Tenere. She did good but is still getting the feel for deep gravel and psychological obstacles. I'll keep working with her and soon we'll be hitting Tar Hollow like pros.

But we ended the day with some fun out back abusing pumpkins. And No, that is not tanterite. We call it waterite and a 45-70 round.

That new Tenere deserves a nice tank bag, not that Joe Rocket thing you've been rocking for 5 years. Go buy a Wolfman.

I don't think I have ever seen Buildit happier... look at that grin! Probably more than the new bike. Enjoy those new wheels this fall and maybe we'll run into each other down Pike County way.

I hope no one was holding the camera for that pumpkin shot! How'd you manage to capture the pumpkin mid-explosion?

When you say on board breaker are you talking about the pressure switch or a motor reset switch? I have never seen a compressor with a electrical breaker on it. If you can give me some more info or a pic, I will try to help you,I take care of air compressors at work. Do you have access to an amp meter,or electrical tools? I know you don't have a lot of stuff with you.

Looks like a still from a video camera, presumably unmanned, downrange.

See, you guys got it figured out without any help from me or Indypup. Mark is percicely correct. Kind of cool to see it blow image by image.
In the first frame you can see the gun has fired but the bullet has yet to reach the pumpkin.

Camera does 30 frames per second, bullet travels 1150 feet pre second. I am still waiting for the day I catch a bullet mid flight. I mean I catch lightening strikes all the time, why is a bullet so hard.
