One of the reasons I sold her and picked up the Adventure this year was to be able to ride some of the rougher stuff... After my 4000 miler out to the KTM rally in Steamboat this past September I feel like I've got a decent feel for her now- so time to make it happen. I have a couple friends up there that might be able to help with info/advice. Hard to know my work travel/schedule too far in advance, and it is frustratingly fluid, but holes do open up- keep me posted.
I'll update here as thing progress. First step will be getting the time off and I won't know that until February.

I'm up for it too.

I think she kinda liked being that close to John.

Your wife seems fun and has a beautiful smile.

Jumping out of an airplane that is capable of flight is crazy....of course I'm the guy that gets woozy on a 6 ft. ladder.

Cool video.

Feeling itchy, this is the second day of no riding, but its not over yet.

As most of you know I have a bunch of gopro's including the black version. It's not a 3+ just a 3. I'd buy a 3+ though if I were buying one today.

I'd say no to anything that you couldn't get close to. There's no zoom unless you crop. It's so wide angle it makes everything look far away. You could make it work of course but a camera with zoom would be better.
They are being used for just about everything nowadays.

Had a 2, have a 3 Black now. I was amazed at the difference in quality, and how much better the H3 Black looked over video from the H2.
I agree with Indypup, with no zoom (fixed wide angle focal view) forget any detail from far away. However, I did record my kids in a church play once by setting the camera (outside of the waterproof housing-for better sound) on/near the stage & used the wi-if functionality to start/stop the camera with my iPhone. It worked good, and was barely noticeable because of the small size & no rear facing LCD screen.
I took my H2 & H3 on our epic trip out West and documented the entire trip with those 2 cameras and my iPhone.
Sadly my H3, which was like 6 days old at the time, fell off the motorcycle in Utah & got ran over.
On the plus side, after several days of back & forth with GoPro, they sent me a brand new H3 (another black). Based on that replacement, and how I was ultimately treated, I'd buy another one.

Look outside.

Did you put those on the cb350? How's it do in the cold, start ok? I have one that I've never ridden, just got it. I'll send you a PM when I'm sober if you don't mind about the bike.

They're going on my cb550. My 350f loved the cold. 20 degrees and it would start by just looking at the button on half choke. My 550 is a little more cold blooded but its not tuned well yet.

Rode the connie home from work tonight... probably the most terrifying ride of my life. That pig is less than manageable on ice. I just finshed cutting the 30 year old tires off my winter 550 wheels, hope the roads are still shitty tomorrow so I can go play.
