Ahhh, sorry.
So we get Scott talking down to us young folks.
"Young people have a tendency to feel they are kind of bullet proof and again it goes back to proper training and proper behavior," Holbrooks said.

Deja vu. Every military motorcycle safety brief starts off with that line.

They talked to me for about a half hour on film and then a bunch more with just a microphone....and that is the crap they picked?

It is all taken out of context and chopped up.

Anyone that knows me knows I HATE the term crotch rocket, that is so derogatory. They mentioned crotch rocket and I corrected them with Sport Bike. I also would not say the bikes are capable of 100mph, hell I have seen scooters capable of 100MPH....when I am involved with stuff like this it always makes me wonder about how much other the other "news" they get wrong.

At least the segment wasn't all negative.

After a rider died here locally a couple of months ago a reporter for the county paper called asking me to do an interview about motorcycle safety. Let's just say we've met before. I told him based on the accuracy of prior stories you have written absolutely not. He got kinda testy after that.

We just ordered Heidenau tires. I think we are just going to do the scouts. The X Challenge & Tengai needs tires so I will probably try them. I hear good things about them.

Every incident I've been on they've gotten facts wrong. Wrong terminology, details, quotes etc. I've learned that it's all part of the biz. They want sensational not instructional.

I have four gopro's if you guys want to use them to record flint ridge. I'll even do the editing afterwards. ;) It's about the closest thing to riding I'll be able to do for a while.

I'm not sure how I'd get them to you though. I think Buildit is closest to me but he probably isn't going.

If there is a way to get them there, I'd run one. I've been considering buying one, but not sure I do enough cool stuff to justify one, though.
